Leh

Leh is the capital and a part of the larger Ladakh region. Leh is located in the Union Territory of Ladakh. In the northernmost region of India, Leh is a very popular tourist destination. Other than its frosty mountains and climate, Leh is famous for various things. Leh is most famous for Buddhist Monasteries, Valley, Bike Riding, Lakes and camping.

Nubra Valley

Nubra is a subdivision and a tehsil in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. In Nubra Valley, you come across a lunar landscape, double-humped Bactrian Camels, and Villages famous for their hot water springs. The second highest motorable pass in the world, Khardung La, which connects Leh to Nubra Valley, is a top tourist attraction.

Pangong Lake

One-third of Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China. Pangong Lake, one of the most famous lakes in Leh Ladakh, derives its name from the Tibetan word, “Pangong Tso”, which means “High Grassland Lake”. It is 134 km long and divided into five sub-lakes, called Pangong Tso, Tso Nyak, Rum Tso and Nyak Tso.
