Switzerland Covid-19 Guidelines

  • As per the Schengen rules, the validity period of all vaccination certificates has been reduced from 365 days to 270 days. (if your vaccination exceeds 270 days then you have to take a Booster dose.)
  • The passenger locator form (PLF) will only have to be filled by those travelers who will be arriving in Switzerland by plane or long-distance bus service.
  • Persons who have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19 will no longer be required to submit a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result at the time of entry.
  • Children under the age of 16 are allowed to travel without vaccination & RTPCR.
  • Everyone over the age of 12 is expected to wear a mask in public and touristic transportation. When restricted social distance cannot be maintained in other public settings, it is strongly advised to wear a mask.

Once you arrive in Vevey you will understand why it is one of the most visited destinations in the Swiss Riviera. Vevey is the global headquarters of Nestlé, one of the world’s largest food companies. Chaplin spent the last two decades of his life in Vevey.
